General

The minimum charge is $100.

Scan My Photo's service charge does not include postage to Scan My Photo. Scan My Photo's service charge does include the return postage fee.

The completed order remains the property of Scan My Photo until full payment is made.

You have read and understood the section on "How it Works" and the service conditions for photo (bulk and manual)/slides/negatives/artwork scanning, video digitisation and optical disc transfer and recovery.

Refunds and Replacements

There are no refunds as acceptance of the finished product/order is obtained from you before payment.

Payment is your acknowledgement that your order meets your expectations.

Replacements of digital images can be obtained via the link provided to you for 30 days and can be downloaded as many times as you like within that 30 days.

USB Flash Drives have a 14 day replacement policy when it is found to be faulty. Before a replacement is considered, the USB Flash Drive is to be returned to Scan My Photo. If found to be faulty, a replacement will be provided.

Payment

Payment is to be made within 5 working days after your approval of the order as set out in the section "How it Works" via a direct deposit to our nominated bank account, cash or PayPal invoice.

Cancelled Orders

For cancelled orders, the customer meets all the postage/courier costs of returning the photographs.

Postage

Scan My Photo provides free return postage through Australia Post on completed and fully paid orders only (excluding large albums). Scan My Photo does not include postal insurance on completed orders. However, Australia Post does include $100 compensation. Any additional insurance is at the cost of the customer.

Modification to Terms & Conditions

Scan My Photo may revise and change these Terms & Conditions of service at any time without notice. By using this website and our services you are agreeing to be bound by the current version of these terms and conditions of service.

Copyright/Liability

Scan My Photo provides a scanning service. By submitting images for scanning, you authorise Scan My Photo to execute any and all work you order on the images. You guarantee that the images are supplied either on your behalf or from the copyright holder. By submitting photos to Scan My Photo, you confirm and guarantee that no copyright has been infringed. Scan My Photo will not be liable to you or any third party for any such copyright infringement. The copyright release is solely your responsibility.

Insurance (postal insurance only)

A) Scan My Photo uses Australia Post to return your originals/order. Australia Post includes $100 compensation for loss.

B) If any other type or additional insurance is required over and above (see "A" above), it is the responsibility of the customer.
