Step 1: Count Your Photos, Slides, Negatives, Video Tapes and Optical Discs
I don't need an exact number, just an approximation. How many photos can be bulk scanned? How many need to be manually scanned?. How many slides or negatives do you have? How many VHS or MiniDV tapes do you have? How many CD/DVD/Blu-ray discs do you have?
If you're not worried about an exact quote, you don't need to even provide numbers.
Step 2: Contact Marc
Tell me about your needs via the Contact Page, Instant Quote Form, or on my Facebook page. Marc from Scan My Photo will contact you within one business day. You can also call or message Marc directly on 0411 071 124.
Step 3: Pack and Send or Hand Deliver
Once your order is confirmed, send your items to the Scan My Photo Australia Post PO Box (Scan My Photo, PO Box 125, Caboolture, Qld, 4510). See the page on the most economical and safe way to pack your photos for more information.
Scan My Photo is based in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia (City of Moreton Bay, between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast), so hand delivery to 40 Duncan Street, Caboolture, Qld, 4510 is available (by appointment) if you are willing to make the trip.
Step 4: Sit Back and Relax
Once your order is received, Marc will confirm the quotation with you and start scanning and digitising. The quotation will only change if the number of items is different or photos are found not to be suitable for bulk scanning.
Your digitised items will be available to view online within a few days. Marc will send you a Dropbox link where you will be able to view (not download) the scans.
If you are happy with the scans, Scan My Photo will invoice you for payment.
After payment, Marc will send back your items via Tracked Regular Australia Post and allow the Dropbox online copies on to be downloaded. Your digital copies will be available on Dropbox for 30 days.
